I never go shopping on black friday anymore. A lot of times you can get great deals the days following black friday as well, without having to deal with the crowds. Do your research, look online as well as in your paper, chances are you will find the deal you are looking for without waiting in huge lines on black friday.

Thanks for this post! I was feeling funny because I have never experienced Black Friday live. I felt like I was the only “ignorant” person who has absolutely no interest in this event. – I saw people lining up outside of a Toys R Us at 11:00 pm last night. What was the sale that might have started at midnight, or at 4:00 am? How many dollars could you “save”? Well, “saving money” does not really apply since people do spend on Black Friday as far as I know, right?
