Simon you are on the right route to end up prosperous, but it takes time. You have gotten a good start from parents that taught you not to waste your money. Just stay out of debt as much as possible and you will get there. The unfortunate fact is that very few of us had parents that did that. That is why we and our nations are all in such deep debt. Some of us have done what it takes to get out of debt, but many will take the easy route, by not paying their debts.
